The API steel pipe is used to transport the oil, gas and water which has been extracted out of the ground to the petroleum and natural gas enterprises. It conforms to API (American Petroleum Institute) standards.

The line pipe is available in seamless type and welded type. It comes with flat ends, threaded ends, or socket ends. Correspondingly, the API steel pipes can be connected through end welding, coupling connection, and socket connection.
