H13/2344Hot Work Tool Steel

The H13/2344hot work tool steel is manufactured through conventional melting (EF LF VD)process. Available in various specifications, it can suit customers’ differentrequirements. The round bars are offered in the diameter up to 600 mm, and the block thickness can be up to 500 mm.

Our 2344 hot work tool steel is known for its great properties. It offersgood through-hardening properties and there is little distortion duringhardening. In addition, the product possesses a combination of high temperaturestrength, thermal fatigue resistance, toughness and ductility. It isalso easily machinable, polishable and can withstandabrasion at both low and high temperatures. Hence, customers can feel confidentin purchasing the product.

Now our tool steel is widely used in making tools for extrusion, such as dies,backers, die holders, liners, stems, and dummy blocks. It is also suitable forplastic mouldingapplications, like injection mouldingof thermal plastics, which can meet higher surface requirements. Otherapplications include severe cold punching, scrap shears, hot shearing, and wearresistant parts.
