ETCO2/SPO2 Monitor
The VS900-III EtCO2/SPO2 monitor is a highly sophisticated medical apparatus with clearly provenclinical advantages. Experience a trulyintuitive user interface with key functions that are literally just one pushaway. The device is user friendly andhas a low learning curve, with helpful prompts to assist with tasks on theway. Universal, instantly recognizableicons are implemented with clearly defined single-level menus. Simple to use alarms come with a pausetoggle. The flexible device islightweight and very portable, it clocks in at only 1.8kg with four internal batteries. The monitor supports battery exchange withoutincurring the loss of power, and offers up to 5 hours of continuous operatingtime. The standard configuration for thedevice is limited to SpO2, side-stream and/or mainstream EtCO2. Optional parameters include respiration,NIBP, dual TEMP, invasive pressure, anesthetic gases, and 3-lead or 5-lead ECGwith pacer detection. Note that the VS900-III monitor supports the display of two waveformsand a maximum of eight parameters via a 14.2 cm (5.6 in)LCD.
Specification
The EtCO2 option implementsa solid state side-stream module with single beam, non-dispersive infrared(NDIR) absorption, ratiometric measurement. Capnogram can be initiated within 10 seconds, andfull specifications are completed within 60 seconds. Routine calibration of the device is notrequired. In the event of system rebootor radical ambient temperature spikes, the device will recalibrate itself within8 seconds. The optimal sampling flowrate is 100 ml/min, but can be adjusted between the ranges of 50 to 200 ml/min.
