Hot Dipped Galvanized/ Zinc Coated Steel Sheet

Brief Introduction
The hot dipped galvanized steel sheet is manufactured by taking the hot rolled or cold rolled steel strip as the base plate through continuous hot dip galvanizing process. The process can prevent the surface of the thin steel plate and steel strip from corrosion and rust. The product can be supplied in the plate form by cutting the product into the rectangular plate or in the coil form.

As a result of the difference of the base plate, the product can be divided into the hot rolled zinc coated steel plate (coil) and cold rolled hot dipped galvanized steel plate (coil). Generally, it is applied to the areas covering construction, home appliance, automobile, vessel, transportation, etc., especially the industries such as structural steel construction, automotive manufacturing, steel window manufacturing, etc.

Classification and Code
1. In line with the processability, the product can fall into the types for general purpose (PT), mechanical lock forming (JY), deep drawing (SC), extra deep drawing non aging (CS) and structure (JG).
2. In terms of the weight of the zinc coating, there is the pure zinc surface including the 100/100 (the zinc coating weighing less than 100g/m²), 120/120, 200/200, 275/275, 350/350, 450/450 and 600/600, as well as the Zn-Fe alloy surface with the type of 90/90 (the Zn-Fe alloy coating weighing less than 90g/m²), 100/100, 120/120 and 180/180.
3. According to the surface structure, the zinc coated steel sheet has the normal spangle type (Z), small spangle type (X), finishing spangle type (GZ) and Zn-Fe alloy type (XT).
4. In accordance with the surface quality, it can be ranked into the group I (I) and group II (II).
5. In line with the dimensional accuracy, the product can be classified into the high precision type (A) and general precision type (B).
6. As to the surface treatment, it can be graded into chromic acid passivation type (L), oiled type (Y), as well as the chromic acid passivation oiled type (LY).
