5. Property
Tasteless and non-toxic. Specific gravity is 1.08-1.19. DPG is easily soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, soluble in benzene, and ethanol; slightly soluble in carbon tetrachloride; and insoluble in water and gasoline.


6. Use
DPG is generally used as the accelerator for natural rubber and synthetic rubber. It does not apply to latex. It is mainly used in the manufacture of tires, rubber plates, rubber shoes, and other rubber industrial products.
