Structure and Operating Principle
The jaw crusheris mainly composed of frame, movable jaw, fixed jaw, eccentric shaft and toggleplate. The crusher squeezes material between two jaws, which are farther apartat the top than at the bottom to form a tampered chute. Raw material that islarger than the opening at the bottom enters the crusher from the top. As themovable jaw exerts force on the rock by forcing it against the fixed plate, thematerial becomes smaller and smaller as it travels downward until it is small enoughto pass through the bottom opening.
