5. Property
RT base is milk white or light brown powder. Its density is 1.07g/cm3. It is soluble in ethanol and difficult to dissolve in water, but easily soluble in acid or alkali solution. This product is toxic and it is highly irritating.

6. Use
RT base is mainly used as the intermediate for dyes and auxiliaries. It is used to produce 4010NA, 4020, and other major antiagers as well as blue salt RT, acid scarlet GR, and disperse yellow GFLA.
