The TK-SVG high voltage dynamic var compensator is a static reactive power compensation device adopting self-commutated inverter circuit. The static var generator, SVG, produced by our company has advantages in many aspects, such as response speed, stabilizing gird voltage, reducing system loss, improving transmission capability, improving transient voltage limit, reducing harmonics, reducing floor space, etc.


Features
1. The response time of the SVG dynamic var compensator reaches 5 ms.
2. This device can suppress voltage flicker to the degree of 5:1 or higher.
3. SVG is a current source. Its outputting of reactive current is not affected by the bus voltage. In undervoltage conditions, its reactive power regulation ability is stronger. Meanwhile, SVG has short-term overload capability.
4. The voltage output by SVG contains little harmonics and SVG can compensate the harmonics and reactive power of the loads, realizing active filtering.
5. SVG can be installed like a box-type substation, so it covers a small area which is only 30% to 50% of that of the SVC.
6. Our reactive power compensation device does not change the impedance distribution of the power system, which is safe and stable.
7. The product can supply active power within a certain range so as to reduce the impact of active power.
8. SVG uses DC capacitor as the energy storage element and the electromagnetic noise produced during the running process is greatly reduced.
