1. Product Overview
The ZHW-126 hybrid switchgear, referred to as PASS which is the acronym of plug and switch system, is independently developed by our company. It combines the gas insulated switchgear's advantages of compact structure, small volume, high reliability, and little maintenance and the air insulated switchgear's merits of low price and convenient overhaul. This product is particularly suitable for use in the construction, expansion or renovation of power plants and substations.
The design idea of this product is different from that of conventional ones. The performance of the substation is taken into account as a whole. The modular design ensures that the product meets various layout requirements of the substation.
Our PASS hybrid switchgear product consists of the disconnector, grounding switch, circuit breaker, current transformer, busbar, and others. These devices or components are put into a metal shell which is then filled with SF6 gas for insulation. The product conforms to the GB7674--1997 and IEC 60517 standards.

3. Features
a. Compact structure, small volume and light weight; the compartment can be transported as a whole.
b. The circuit breaker our hybrid switchgear adopts uses self-energy arc extinguishing method with the principle of compressing air and thermal expansion. It has strong breaking capacity and short arcing time. The total breaking duration is two cycles and the breaking times at full capacity is 20.
c. The circuit breaker is equipped with the CT26 spring operating mechanism which has simple and compact structure, high reliability, little maintenance, and long mechanical life (up to 10,000 times). This mechanism also meets no-oil requirement.
d. Current transformers can be installed on both sides of the circuit breaker and a three-position isolated grounding combination switch is set on the line side. This is in line with domestic design specifications.
e. The three-position isolated grounding combination switch has a rotary plug-in structure. It is characterized by strong current passing capacity and high reliability to cut off circular current and low current. The three-position structure this combination switch adopted is imported from Japan. It is stable and reliable to operate and it has complete interlocking and protection functions.
f. The product shell is made of rust-proof aluminum alloy, so the product has light weight, strong corrosion resistance, small eddy current loss, small temperature rise, and strong current passing ability.
g. Silicon rubber compound insulation bushing is used as the leading-out bushing. It has high mechanical strength, light weight, and strong anti-fouling capability.
h. The adoption of new corrosion-resisting sealing materials which can withstand both high and low temperatures improves the sealing performance of the product.
i. Our PASS hybrid switchgear only uses 40% of the SF6 gas adopted by the GIS, which is more eco-friendly.
j. With the field structure optimally designed, the rated pressure of the SF6 gas is only 0.4Mpa.
k. Our product enjoys little noise when running and low radio interference level.
l. It can be used in areas with harsh environmental conditions, such as high altitude, severe contamination, frequent earthquake, etc. It can also serve in downtown areas which is lack of land and mountainous regions where earth rock excavation is difficult.
m. With modular design, our product can adapt to different wiring methods, such as sectionalized single-bus configuration, bridge wiring, double-bus configuration, etc.
n. Adopting a plug-in type structure, our PASS hybrid switchgear is convenient to maintain.
o. The adoption of prefabrication in the factory greatly reduces onsite installation workload, shortens construction period, and improves installation quality.
p. Different monitoring and control can be achieved according to the requirements of users, such as partial discharge online monitoring, SF6 gas density and water content monitoring, as well as photoelectric transformer intelligent control.
