Veneered MDF

Our veneered MDF is short for veneered medium-density fiberboard. It is an artificial board that utilizes wood fiber or other plant fiber as its raw materials, accompanied with urea resin or other suitable adhesives. The timber, tree branches and other objects are firstly immersed in water, and then subjected to such treatments as hot grinding, mat formation, and hot pressing processes.

Owing to its soft texture, high strength, and strong impact resistance, this product after being pressed can offer uniform density and be easily reprocessed. However, it gives poor resistance to water. The medium and high density board is made from adhesives and the small-diameter timber at high temperature and high pressure. Our product is one of the best artificial boards in China.

1. Basic Classification
a. In view of different densities, this veneered MDF can be categorized into high density type, medium density type, and low density type. The density of medium-density board ranges from 550kg to 880kg per cubic meter. The density of high-density board is at least 880kg per cubic meter.
b. The common size can be divided into 1220*2440mm and 1525*2440mm.
c. Available thickness includes 3mm,5mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm,16mm, 18mm, 20mm, 25mm, and 30mm.

2. Performance Features
Our veneered MDF features smooth surface, meticulous craftsmanship, stable performance, and solid edge. Its surface offers superb decorative effect. However, this product fails to provide strong moisture resistance. By contrast, its nail-holding ability is weaker than that of the particle board.

3. Superiority
a. This veneered MDF can be easily coated and processed. A variety of paints can be uniformly coated on this product, which is a first choice of creating paint effects.
b. Our product also serves as a kind of beautiful decorative plate.
c. All sorts of wood veneers, gummed paper, light-metal sheets and other materials can be adhered to the surface of this veneered medium-density fiberboard.
d. The rigid board can be punched to form an acoustic board, which is applicable for the decoration engineering of buildings.
e. The physical properties of our product are wonderful, and the problem of dehydration never occurs.
f. The nail-holding ability of this product is good. It becomes poor when the nail is placed on the same position twice.

4. Applications
a. Our veneered MDF is primarily used for strengthening the timber floors, door sheets, partition walls, furniture, and some others. In home decoration, it is mainly applied in the surface treatment by adopting oil-mixing technology.
b. The high density board is prone to causing cracks. Therefore, we generally adopt the medium density board for making furniture.
c. The high density board is ideal for the indoor and outdoor decoration, the office and home furniture, acoustics, and the interior vehicle decoration. It can be also used for the antistatic floor of computer rooms, dados, security doors, wallboards, partition plates, and other materials. Moreover, this product is a satisfactory packing material.
