High Power Gear Reducer

The MTH/MTB high power gear reducer adopts the novel design which enables high transmission efficiency and good heat dissipation capability. The unique, innovative concept lies in the fact that there are less gear component varieties within the gearbox yet with increased specifications and models for options. The rather simplified structural design allows for better reliable functioning and improved transmission efficiency. This series of gear reducer is extensively used in the bucket elevator, wrapper roll assembly, bar stock cooling bed roller, stage lift, and the cableway.

Key Features
1. Integrated-optimal design insures the gear reducer a high transmission efficiency of over 90%.
2. Selected material for casing-the high strength ductile cast iron is used for better heat dissipation capability (with an average 5℃-8℃ decrease in operating temperature) as well as to reduce gearmotor weight by 20%. The gear blank is made of 17CrNiMo6 to allow for 2000 hours increase in use life and 20% improvement in tensile strength and yield strength compared to the gear constructed of 20CrMnTi.
3. The ring gear and gear shaft are used as opposed to the outer and inner ring of the overrunning clutch. This reduces the volume of the gear reducer as well as the manufacturing cost. The flange and output shaft assembly in which the flange is fixed to the output shaft is available to allow the gear box to be fitted within a small space.
