Oil Storage Tank

Classifications
1. Vertical Cylindrical Vault Steel Type

The vertical cylindrical vault steel oil storage tank generally has a capacity lower than 10,000 m3. The wallboard adopts the sleeve type connection method with fillet welds.

This oil storing device is often installed in an inverted order. To be specific, the wall is installed layer by layer from the top to the bottom. Meanwhile, the fan is adopted to elevate the body of this product. The pyramid method means that the wall is installed layer by layer from the bottom to the top, starting from the bottom plate of the wall. In comparison with the pyramid method, the reversed method reduces work conducted high above the ground.

2. Vertical Cylindrical Steel Type with Floating Roof
The vertical cylindrical steel oil storage tank can be designed with the double or single deck roof which is able to float up and down. The double deck floating roof is capable of reducing the impacts caused by the heat radiation, thus making small oil evaporation loss. When the capacity is great, more than 10,000 m3, the single deck floating roof will be used to decrease construction costs.

Oil Storage Tank

This type of oil storage unit should be equipped with a reasonable sealing device which is required to have good sealing effects, as well as convenient installation and maintenance. The wallboard is connected via the butt welding. The pyramid construction method is commonly used.

3. Vertical Cylindrical Steel Type with Internal Floating Roof
This type of oil storage tank comes with both vault and internal floating roof. The latter, located inside the vault oil container, floats on the fluid surface.
