35~220KV SF6 Voltage Transformer

1. Overview
The JDQXF-35~220 series of voltage transformer is used in a power system for voltage measurement, electric power metering, and relay protection. Conforming to the standard of GB1207-2006 "electromagnetic voltage transformer", it is a patented product developed independently by our company and the patent number is ZL 2008 2 0233230.2.


2. Structure
An independent 35~220KV SF6 voltage transformer is composed of the enclosure, main body, insulation bushing, primary connection board, and secondary terminal box. The 35~220KV SF6 voltage transformer for GIS consists of enclosure, main body, basin-type insulators, electric connectors, and secondary terminal box.
The product main body adopts a single-stage structure. The SF6 gas and insulation film enable the product to withstand very high voltage. The main body is fixed on the connecting flange and is placed into the enclosure. The outgoing line of secondary windings is guided into the secondary terminal box through the wiring board. There are terminals for wiring inside the terminal box.
In addition to holding the main body and fixing, the enclosure is also provided with a SF6 density controller or pressure gauge. The SF6 density controller has temperature compensation function and it also has two connection points for supplying alarm signals. It can be used for remote monitoring of the gas pressure inside the 35~220KV SF6 voltage transformer.
There are two kinds of bushing for selection: porcelain bushing and silicone rubber composite bushing.

4. Features
a. Our JDQXF-35~220 series of voltage transformer uses SF6 gas and insulating film for main insulation. The insulating film has high dielectric strength. SF6 gas has stable and reliable insulation performance with no worries of aging. SF6 also has self-recovery capability. Even at zero gauge pressure, the product can still run at the rated voltage for a short time.
b. Using SF6 gas for insulation realizes oil free, which avoids polluting the environment and reduces fire risks. Also, SF6 is compressible and the design strength of the product housing and bushing is 2.5 times the failure strength. Hence, even if the product fails, it will not explode and endanger the safe operation of peripheral facilities.
c. With the annual leakage rate not more than 0.5%, our product is maintenance-free within 10 years. It is also equipped with a SF6 density controller which can achieve online monitoring of the product.
d. Adopting magnetically permeable material, advanced technology, and excellent insulation design, our 35~220KV SF6 voltage transformer has capacitive volt-ampere characteristics, which can effectively prevent the potential ferromagnetic resonance caused by voltage change in the power system.
e. Since the product adopts a vertical structure and all connections are rigid, it has outstanding resistance to mechanical shock and earthquake.
